As entrepreneurs, we are busy! Often times we are so focused on building a great brand and business, we forget to focus on ourselves and our purpose. We know you are already living your brand! Are you living your purpose? We spoke with The Connect Magazine publisher, Eric Jordan, on this subject for this week’s podcast. Eric shared his story of using faith and surrounding himself with great people to find and fulfill his life’s purpose. Eric’s life’s purpose and entrepreneurial spirit intertwine in so many ways that we just had to share it with all our listeners. Prior to the interview, we asked Eric to answer a few fun questions for us. These were his answers…
Q: What is your business super power?
A: The Connect’s Super Power is creating positive energy. No one goes through life untested and the answer to these tests is positive energy. The kind of positive energy that consists of the vision, trust, optimism, enthusiasm, purpose, and spirit that defines great leaders and their dreams
Q: If you weren’t an entrepreneur, what would your career be?
A: I would still be performing meaningful work that had the potential to change lives.
Q: What is the biggest lesson you learned since starting your business?
A: The biggest lesson that I’ve learned was to trust the process. Also, stop caring about what others think. Everything on earth belongs to God, which means we have direct access to success if we tapped into that sense of believing.
Q: Apple or PC? Why?
I’m old fashion and enjoying doing things the old way. I still enjoy handing out business cards, shaking hands, having meetings over coffee, etc…. Some entrepreneurs love to use technology for everything. It’s hard for me to close a $30,000 deal through email. I need to see the passion and commitment in others, because I want them to see it inside of me.
Q: Tell us one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
A: Because of the Connect, I have s secret obsession with fashion. I totally believe that if you look good, you feel good. Part of me would love to open a men’s clothing store in the near future. Every article will have a meaningful design promoting hope, love, family, etc….
Q: How can people connect with you online?
